Monkeys catch CHEP Creative Directors
Sam Dickson and Cam Bell join The Monkeys at CHE Proximity, where, over the past five years, they’ve grown from a young creative team to creative directors. Seven’s new Convergence Audience Trading manager
Seven West Media has appointed Alex Tansley to lead Convergence Audience Trading. In the newly created position, Tansley will be responsible for the development and implementation of Seven’s strategy through dynamic and converging audience trading solutions via CODE 7+, CRM and the development of new operating models and products. Tansley previously held executive positions at MCN, Foxtel Media and most recently Seven West Media as Head of Revenue Strategy.

Carat Perth expands its team
Carat Perth MD Jim Groves announced three new appointments for the agency. Lana Blanchard joins as Client Partner, Alan Bayliss as Client Director and Sam Giuffre has been promoted Group Investment Director. Blanchard’s primary mission is to lead the agency’s key national client, Alinta Engergy.

We Are Social appoints Caitlin Hislop as head of strategy
Socially-run creative agency We Are Social has appointed Caitlin Hislop chief strategy officer and Sarah Macrae chief editorial officer. Hislop joined Tribal DDB, where she worked with clients of key agencies including Kmart, Westpac and Volkswagen. Macrae spent five years at Are Media (formerly Bauer Media), where she was responsible for commercial content, working with brands such as CommBank, Dyson, Diageo and Google on digital content solutions.

Houston group names Nick Foley
The Houston Group strategy and brand design consultancy has announced the appointment of Nick Foley, senior branding expert, to the newly created role of chief counsel. The appointment coincides with two senior promotions in Houston, including Stacey Wren, from studio manager to chief of staff, and Gretel Maltabarow, from account manager to senior account manager. The new roles take effect immediately.

Cyril De Baecque joins Imagination Australia
Global experience design firm Imagination has announced the appointment of Cyril De Baecque as Director of Digital Content Production in its Sydney office. De Baecque will report to Imagination Australia’s Managing Director, Antony Gowthorp, and will be responsible for driving growth and making Imagination a center of excellence for the production of premium content. De Baecque was previously an EP at experiential agency VANDAL Sydney, working on global projects including automotive TV commercials and world-class feature films.

From CHE Proximity to funeral disruptor
Bare has appointed Dom Megna, previously at CHE Proximity, as Brand and Creative Manager. Megna took on the newly created role at Bare. The mainstream startup is using technology to disrupt the funeral industry.

Independent media agency Speed ​​has appointed Kaylene Tunney to lead planning and client management. Tunney steps into the newly created role of Spark Foundry where she was the group’s client partner on the Westpac account.
